Doctors James Fullick and Chris James hand over patients at the start of a new shift. Communicating in PPE was one of the major challenges of working in ICU during the pandemic. With staff wearing tight fitting face masks and frequently visors, everybody was raising their voices to be heard adding to the noise and making communication of important, techinical facts difficult.
